Shari Conaway embodied the principals of Servant Leadership every day as the Managing Director of People for Southwest Airlines. She was responsible for HR Operations & Compliance including Health & Wellness, HR Compliance, Employee Service Center, Employment Screening & New Hire Administration and Absence Management. Shari learned her Leadership skills from the ground up, starting as a Recruiter and then holding several different positions leading up to her role as Managing Director of People. In her over 30 years at Southwest Airlines, her focus has always been on leading, guiding, and serving both External and Internal Customers.
